Hello. I'm one of the official diplomacy chaps for the greater Nexal empire, here to facilitate trade between our two groups, should Deadwood be interested.
Currently, we are only offering lumps of clay and only willing to accept boulders, stone blocks, thyme, antlers, or picks.
The going rates are: 1 boulder = 1 block = 1 antler = 1 pick = 5 lumps of clay 1 thyme sprig = 2.5 lumps of clay (i.e. 2 sprigs for 5 lumps) [If not trading in whole numbers, the amount of clay will always be rounded down.]
Are you interested?

we currently have nothing but flint/handaxes (stone carpentry tools, axes and spears could also be made easily) and maybe wheat to trade.
we also dont have a kiln, so we would need to trade for finished clay pots.

Raw flint for pots is ok. 3 flints per pot sound good? We also don't have a kiln yet, but we should be getting one up within the next week. I'll talk to you again then.

sounds good yeah, lol. we have more handaxes than flints, but if you feel like sending traders with pots you can go ahead and trade at will, lol. may be some time before we can organize a trip to your corner of the world, we have fewer citizens and im currently away from home helping a neighbor.

Along with setting borders I'm also looking for picks. Almost had a sabertooth the other day, which I think might provide them the same as stags; don't know yet.
We welcome all trade, so I'm sure that this will work out well as we get the new structures up. Our main stockpile in town would probably be the best place to trade. Just make sure you announce your intentions when you get there so no one who doesn't check the forum gets the idea that your doing something untoward.
If this works out, then we would look forward to other potential cooperation in the future.

Nope, picks can only be made from Stag antlers, not Tiger fangs. Yes, certainly.
